This Privacy Policy explains how Locksmith.contact ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit https://locksmith.contact or submit a locksmith request. By using the site, you agree to this Policy and to our Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide: ZIP code, phone number, whether the request is urgent, language and service type when selected. We do not request payment card details, identity documents or passwords. A request identifier helps avoid duplicate processing and track notification status.

Information collected automatically: IP address, device type, browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, and the date, time, and duration of your visit. This is collected through server logs, cookies, and similar technologies, including Google Tag Manager and the analytics tools it loads.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the details to receive and handle your request, send operational notifications through email and Telegram and facilitate contact about the service. Provider cards do not automatically verify ZIP-code coverage. We also use information to secure and maintain the site, prevent duplicates and abuse, and measure visits and interactions through configured analytics tools.

By submitting, you ask Locksmith.contact and up to three independent locksmiths to contact you by phone or text about this request. Your request does not book work or authorize unrelated marketing. 4. How We Share Information

We may share the phone number and request details with up to three independent locksmith providers to respond to the request. Those providers have their own privacy practices. Technical services that process information include hosting, email, Telegram and configured analytics tools. We may also disclose information when legally required or to address a dispute. Forwarding a request does not confirm that a provider has accepted the job.

5. Cookies and Analytics

Google Tag Manager manages configured measurement tags, including Google Analytics and advertising tools when enabled. They may use cookies or similar identifiers. Form analytics events should not include your phone number or the full request content. You can limit cookies in your browser; submitting a request does not require agreeing to advertising. 6. Data Retention

Technical records used to prevent duplicate requests and track notification delivery use hashed identifiers rather than the submitted phone number or ZIP code. Their retention period is seven days; abuse-limiting records have a one-day retention period. Request details sent through email and Telegram are held separately for handling the request, resolving disputes and meeting applicable obligations. Deleting a technical record does not delete those messages. You may request deletion as described in Section 8.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your information has been compromised.

8. Your Choices and Rights

To stop contact about a request, tell the caller or sender and email [email protected]. Follow the opt-out instructions in any message received. You may request access to, correction of or deletion of information we hold; we will respond as required by applicable law. If information has already reached an independent provider, you can also contact that provider. Do not include identity documents or passwords in your initial message.

9. Do Not Track

Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. Like most sites, we do not currently respond to them.

10. Children's Privacy

The site is intended for adults 18 and older and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Links to Other Sites

The site links to third-party websites, including locksmith websites and social profiles. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before providing them information.

12. Changes to This Policy
